Doug Francone is the director of HR strategy and information for CSAA, part of the AAA federation. Doug’s role is to craft and ensure execution of an HR strategy that will provide a competitive advantage for CSAA through their workforce. Doug also is responsible for CSAA HR information systems, and manages to Business Partners that support the various lines of business.

Doug has over 25 years of HR technology and strategy experience with Chevron, AG Consulting, ADP and as an independent consultant. While at Chevron he helped lead large transformational projects to move HR to a shared services organization as well as leading many HR technology projects. He helped establish a Management Consulting practice within AG Consulting, and built and lead an HR web practice – providing custom and off the shelf implementation and hosting web services in the HR arena.

Throughout his career Doug has provided thought leadership on numerous HR and HRIS topics, including shared services, position management, change management, self service, and the use of the web. He has presented on various subjects through various forums including IHRIM and the Conference Board. He has often been a contributor to publications such as the Corporate Leadership Council gold books. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
